Scott Clifton finally came back to the canvas in a front-burner storyline. Unfortunately, having Liam stare death in the face feels more like a swan song than a triumphant return and oh, boy, does Clifton know how to get us reaching for our box of tissues. For this reason, the fan-favorite simply had to have the high honor of Performer of the Month for The Bold and the Beautiful.
April 2025 Performer of the Month
The Top Spot
April brought Clifton back in full force as Liam Spencer and he was certainly a sight for sore eyes. After months upon months of being pushed to side, we finally have the Daytime Emmy-winning actor taking the set by storm. While we were fully expecting a love triangle or a huge family feud, the last thing we expected to watch the character collapse and find out he may soon parish from a brain tumor. Talk about a twisty little twist!
First, we have to hand it to Clifton for those scenes between Liam and Dollar Bill (Don Diamont). Watching Liam call out his fatherâs bad behavior (once again) definitely had us glued to our screens. The argument, the shouting, the threats, and Liam standing on his morals had our jaws on the floor. Then, watching Bill storm out the door and Liamâs collapse had us all holding our breath. And, our shock and awe didnât end there. Not only did it take days for Liam to come around, but when he did, his first mission was to be the best dad ever and make it to Kellyâs (Sophia Paras McKinlay) daddy-daughter dance. While this gesture wasnât exactly medically sound, putting his little girls first was a classic Liam move that showed off his big heart. He risked it all for a special moment with Kelly and even though they missed the dance, he made up for it in a big wayâŠwell, at least he tried. By the end of the night, he was fading and it was clear Liam was not doing well. And, as if escaping the hospital and fading fast while with Kelly, the news came in that heâs dying. The scenes with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) having the daunting task to share the terrible news broke our hearts in two. Sadly, it was all downhill for Liam from there. Now, heâs in a fight for his life while trying to spend as much time as he can with the people he loves.
Honorable Mentions
We have to hand it to Romy Park and Kimberlin Brown for that Poppy and Sheila showdown. Cake fights are a staple for B&B and it was fun watching them throw food, sling insults, and go toe to toe in a massive catfight for the record books.
How can we not mention the slick antics of Luna? Lisa Yamada threw on a disguise and pulled out all the stops to seduce Will (Crew Morrow). Entertaining? Yes! Fun? Yes! A little bit spicy? Heck yes! This young lady has what it takes to achieve soap greatness and we canât wait to see what stunt she pulls off next.
