Amid rumors that Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber’s marriage is on the rocks, the Rhode Beauty founder shut down speculation by playfully showing off her lux diamond ring.
Amid speculation that the couple—who share baby Jack Blues, 10 months—have broken up, the Rhode Beauty founder seemingly shut down rumors while also boosting her cosmetic brand.
In a reposted video shared to her Instagram Story June 22, Hailey applies her Rhode peptide lip product—with assistance from the brand’s limited edition compact mirror—while her wedding ring was on full display.
Hailey’s subtle clap back at rumors comes just days after she raised eyebrows by stepping out in New York City without her wedding ring on—and without Justin by her side. The “Sorry” singer, for his part, further fueled speculation by sharing a grainy photo on a plane to Instagram June 22, captioned with a broken heart emoji.
Of course, the Biebers—who tied the knot in 2018—have been subject to breakup speculation before, and Hailey has previously spoken out about how it seemingly never ends.
“People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day one,” Hailey admitted to W Magazine last July. “‘Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy.”
And Hailey admitted that dealing with the noise doesn’t get any easier.
“I used to try to act like it hurts less and less,” she continued. “I’ve tried to think that you get used to it at a certain point, that this is what’s going to be said and this is how people are going to be. But I realize that it doesn’t actually ever hurt any less.”
But even amid constant surveillance of her relationship status, the 28-year-old has also been open that she and Justin are constantly evolving.
“You have to figure out how to deal with this s–t as it comes, you know?” Hailey explained to Harper’s Bazaar in 2022. “There’s a reason they say ‘for better or for worse.’ Like, that’s for real!”
As for Justin, he admitted that his marriage to Hailey has really made him address his own problems.
“It’s a journey,” he explained on Apple Music’s The Ebrow Show in 2022. “I thought marriage was going to fix all my problems and it didn’t. It just kind of was a reflection of like, man, you’re a bit of a hypocrite man.”
